Black tank flush....
Anyone know what brand flush Crossroads uses? Ours seems to be partially plugged, and I would like to have a replacement in hand when I take the old one out.

How did you determine it was partially plugged without removing it?

Very limited water flow. Can't hear it rotating any more. I actually ran small small tubing in it to get the flow it has.

Was just curious! On mine all I can tell is that water is running, no other sounds, but it doesn't take but about 5 minutes to put a lot of water in & seems to work well enough.

On my last two I can hear a swirling sounds like a sprinkler spinning in circles. Can hear it clearer if I put my ear against the wall adjacent to the black tank. I believe this is normal.

Ther is no spinning , just a nozzle shooting water and hitting the other side. Sometimes the nozzle can Get plugged . If it was working ok for a while ther would not be a kink in the hose ...like mine was from the factory.

Harley, you may be correct on the spinning, but on my current trailer, it sure sounds like the head is spinning. When I blow the line out with compressed air I can hear the water blowing out in what sounds like a circular motion until the water runs out, then I don't hear anything.

Ours definitely used to spin. Like you say, I could hear the sound changing as the head rotated. At one time, it completely plugged up. I put 140 psi air on it and still couldn't get it clear. I took a long piece of 1/4" plastic tubing, and ran it in until it stopped, connected it to a water source and washed it out. I get some flow, but nothing like it was new.

If you know the aerator under the bath sink area is ok ,then cut a piece of black bottom coroplast and unhook hose to tank and unscrew said head for "spinner". See what it is and clean it and re install. Just empty tank first ...lol. Let us know what it is. Before you cut the bottom , take a few screws out of the edge and stick a flashlight in to make sure there are no wires laying on the bottom.

When I cleaned mine, I was able to reach it by just lowering the membrane on the side of the rig...maybe 4 bolts worth. My flush screen was completely clogged with small bits of TP. Washed the screen and has worked fine now (knock on wood) for several years.

I suppose you're talking about the anti siphon valve? If so, ours was below the bath closet, completely built in. I know it is supposed to be above toilet level, but when it failed, I installed a brass one with additional check behind the convenience center in the basement. I also use an extra anti backflow preventer on hose. It'll be about a month before we're on a lot where I can get under the rv. I'll update then.
