Here is the list that I took to my dealer after about 4 trips last fall. The day I went to pick up our new trailer the tech shut the slide with his drill next to the wall and the slide pushed the drill against the wall and made a small hole so they ordered a whole new wall. I also had some bubbling of the wallpaper in the bedroom so I had them replace that when I brought it back. Other than that our unit had been great so we took delivery in mid-September and I believe this weekend will be our 8th trip out. I did need to fix some of the dealers work because, when they put the new wallboard up it went all the way to the bathroom door and they didn’t trim as against the stud so when they put up the door frame the bathroom door was tight and was kind of hard to open. It wasn’t worth bringing it back to them as it took me 30 minutes and $7.00 dollars in material versus $50.00 in fuel and the time it takes them to fix something.
Zinger 31 BH
o Wall board behind bathroom
o Wall board right side of entrance door
o Awning sticks on rear side and will not go back in place
o Leveling jacks bind and are hard to use
o Only 1 side of the light works in the front bedroom (turned out to be Just a bulb)
o Bedroom door bottom corner is rubbing on a screw or something and leaving a mark (replaced the door)
o Bunkhouse door latch keeps coming off, screw is stripped from door

Only those that I brought on myself, other than a converter going out at the two year mark

Cruiser CF305SKP

Awning LED lights had to be replaced

Wallboard reattached next to freestanding table

Replace main slide weather strip (top only)

Bulge in wallboard to the right of trailer entrance (CW botched this one)
Still working on getting this one fixed properly.

Thermostat had to be replaced

My wife and I decided to take out original recliners they rubbed on slide when the slide was in closed position. Affraid they would damage slide.

The most important thing is: we are now in the second year of our warranty. We were fortunate to be some of the last to receive a two year warranty. Which makes it much nicer to work all the little bugs out, especially if you are only camping on the weekends.

right away-
1-water intake hose kinked at tank
2-black water flush hose kinked at tank end
3-black water flush vacuum break not tightened and leaked all over cabinet
4-one screw in dream dinnette slide mechanism not fully "in" and broke 2 little wheels in slide unit
5-lousy calking job on all outside trim especially around fridge vent and plugs and water heater
6-dinette seat back ripped out of slide wall .screws missed stud by 1 ".
7-deadbolt not fully engaging..had to file and drill deeper hole.
8-shower skylight leaking as screws into plastic torqued with same torque as all other screws...guess assembelers don't want to waste time changing guns or don't realize that plastic is weaker than metal? All mfg'ers have this problem.
9-ALL screws on eavethroughs on both sides not tightened properly

after 3 weeks
1-needed 3 new tires as axles straightened and wore tires
2-needed 2 new 4400# axles(that are on all 2014 sunset trail res)..in place of 3500#
3-needed 2200# stronger springs as tires were wearing on underside of wheel well.
I was not overloaded
4-off brand water pump started leaking..replaced with sur-flo.
5-needed an extra shock lifter to keep bed in the up position when lifted.

we will see what this summer brings ...hopefully all fixed.

Purchased May 15th 2013. After an extensive PDI the only issues we've had in the 11 months are:
1 -LED lights on the awnings are starting to go out. We haven't replaced the strips yet but will this year.
2 - The Sansui television not coming on after switching from shore power to hauling, back to shore power without unplugging the television. Figured this out thanks to a member on this forum!
3 - Rear stabilizer switch corroded and broke away from wires. Poor design being right out there in the open for all the road crud to get on it. Again, another member of this forum has an excellent upgrade suggestion with an electrical box to protect it.
That's it...no other issues. We're very happy with our unit and have been full-timing now since 3-25-2014. We should be closing on our new home by the end of this month.

Our 2012 Zinger:

- Cracked vent trim and missing ladder - dealer came to house and replaced/installed.
- Missing screws on lower rear siding - I installed and sent pic for record.
- Staples too long on dinette bench - we accepted it versus having whole bench replaced. I send photos.
- Igniter knob on stove broke. I just fixed it.

Now...Crossroads changed model line up when we ordered our 2012. As a good faith measure, they ship us 2 doors plus hardware to replace the elimination of dinette drawers. We were most pleased that they were willing to do this.

Our 2014 was only used 2 weekends. So far, no issues. We open up in a couple weeks, and I expect the same high-quality we had with the 2012.

Haven't taken my SF270BH out yet, but this is what I've had so far:
Skylight in bathroom warped between 2 screws and a small gap appeared.
Screws worked out of TV antenna and sealant separated.

Dealer gave me a tube of tan Dicor, and I fixed both. I put larger screws in antenna and added a screw to the skylight.

Just bought a 2014 st28bh. Picked it up front the dealer and drove straight to my property and has been stored. So far....

-Bulge has come up in bathroom floor
-Bad electrical connection on rear stabilizer jacks
-Electrical box on frame not mounted under sofa slide.(just hanging with wire through frame)
-All lower corners of both slides have sizeable gaps in the seal where you can see light coming in and feel wind.
-Front Cap decal chipping and peeling off at the top.

Kinda glad I bought used this time. My last rig was a $60k Blue Ridge that I spent my first year carrying it back and forth to the dealer to get all the bugs worked out. It was a great camper my second year with it, but the first year was frustrating. I got scared my job was going away and sold it, but now that the job has worked out, I kinda wish I'd kept it. It was a nice rig. Anyway, my used Cruiser has been awesome. No problems at all except what was caused by my garage collapsing on it during a tornado. I guess I can't blame that on Crossroads, lol.

The first year we had to have a couple drawers realigned, the slide rubbed a hole in the carpet so the carpenters replaced and the slide realigned. The outside door holder snapped in the cold and had to be replaced. Anything else was pretty much self inflicted and fixed. Important to note, crossroads honored our warranty no issues other than the dealership being slow to do the repairs (better if we stayed on them about fixing it).

With the exception of items 2,4,8,18 the rest should have been caught during the PDI.
If you fixed things with your own money, submit the receipts and CR should reimburse you for all the parts.
Everything stated is covered by the warranty. If you would have let the dealer look at it in 2 1/2 weeks; that time period has come and gone. Should have let the dealer arrange to look at it.
Good luck with your problems.

The decal, and the handle was fine in the PDI
Towel holder was in plastic bag
Bed had no sheets or blankets. Less weight stayed up fine
AC was on but 50 degrees out. No ladder to check air flow
Furnace fine for 3 days antenna was not connected was told up 2 me to hook it up
No water in fresh tank
Everything was good for a few days
And dealer said
Bring it in today but it will sit for 2 weeks
I asked how about I make appointment
Was told it would still be a few weeks after you drop it off to look at it

Sorry to hear about your luck with your camper. I think the most important thing to look at when buying a new camper is the dealership. They can make or break your new camper experience. I had a bad experience with a dealership that would say the same thing and I wont be going back there.

With the PDI, not trying to be an arm chair quarterback, but maybe you guys should of changed the PDI time to another day that would of been nicer and told them to fill the tanks, but like I said can't do much about that now. I would contact Crossroads let them know of your problems with the camper and dealership and I'm sure they will take care of you.

Good luck with getting your problems resolved

I so agree with longhauler, our experience with the purchase of our first CrossRoads RV became so much easier and more enjoyable once we found a reputable service dealer. BE CAREFUL who you purchase from. CR has great customer service and has honored our warranty for everything we needed. Our first service dealer was a joke and left us very disillusioned with the entire company(CR). We thought we had really made a mistake until we found Greeneway RV Sales and Service in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. They have worked so well with CR and addressed everything in a timely fashion. Their warranty specialist is outstanding and the techs found things we didn't even know about. Any new RV will have it's issues. (Some more than others, unfortunately.) Do your research!
