I stopped by my dealer today. Ask for blueprints. She'll get back to me.

Just looking at a 2014 Rusmore Jefferson for sale in Texas.. shows I'm missing a A/C vent towards the rear window...this is crazy. Edited by: Ramn4ver

Chatted with Crossroads customer service today. Their sending out A/C vents parts for the ceiling. Oh boy: making more holes in my Jefferson.
Missing A/C vent in back row. Edited by: Ramn4ver

All these issues with the Rushmore line would have been a good question for Tom at the factory rally.

After taking with Leonard at the customer service text. All he could is wow. After I told him about most of my issues. I do like my Jefferson. But I have own two Lance campes, two Alfa 5th wheel and a Arctic Fox trailer. Never had any issues like I have had with my Rushmore. And the dealership who could care less. Blue Dog RV. Still waiting for my replacement dining room chair. Been about a month now. I did email Tom, the west coast exe. about my problems. All I heard was sorry...what a joke.

Ol Tom knew exactly what he was doing when he cut the Crossroads warranty in half. You can't throw them out there in mass quantities and keep the same quality so you have to cut the warranty to keep warranty cost down. Sly like a fox until it comes back to bite you in lost sales.

I continue to seenegative and or disappointed reports on the Rushmore. I just posted about the CR rally. I felt positive about the comments of the rally.
I think thre is a gap in present day quality. Cr is in a growth spurt and unfortunatly will never be the "Old CR"
I support Hunter 11 "s input. I hope CR will moniter our input and effect some real changes and customer support.

I don't know if CR monitors these forums or not, but on thing is certain - I just purchased a Mobile Suites after considering a Rushmore for several months. For me the choice became clear after reading the owner experiences on this forum and current owner recommendations.
In addition our local dealership, Blue Dog RV is a VERY POOR company representative. I wouldn't buy a package of sewage chemicals from Blue Dog........

Hutchman, unfortunately they have not monitored the forum since the first of the year. I am a member of a couple of other manufactures forums because I am researching full time units for us and they do monitor their forums and have employees/management that post on the forums. I find this a good business practice. I do know that Crossroads monitors the Redwood forum so they do care about that forum and the owners.
On another note I would like to hear more about your thoughts on your Mobile Suites. We have 4 units on our listof full time units that I am researching and the Mobile Suites is one of them. If you don't mind some time send me a PM about how you like it.

Ramn4ver, sorry for hijacking your thread with off topic chat. The Mobile Suites is a very well built rig. A family member has one in the 34' range. It is heavy but with a 1-ton dually he saidit pulls well.
I believe I have seen comments about a "Lifestyles" brand of RV. I passed one this morning on my way to work and all I can say is WOW!!! Full body paint with really nice graphics. I have had a few conversations with the person pulling it so the next time I see him in a local campground I will ask for a tour and get his opinion.
After doing some reading aboutthis brand I didn't realize it is a lot of the "former" Carriage employees with new ownership. Didn't some of the current Crossroads managers come from Carriage? If so that might explain the problems with the current Crossroads and why Carriage closed it's doors.
