2013 3612 Elevation air conditioner

Any comments or suggestions on this units ac system. The bedroom hardly gets any air, but living room is freezing. Also info on programmable thermostat...very intimidating.

Do you have dual AC units? If not, and unit is mounted over the kitchen area, close the "quick Cool vent on the AC. That's the one next to the filter on the AC unit itself, and then make sure other ceiling vents are open.

And a portable fan blowing to the bedroom may help also...

We take the vent direction covers off. Flows more air. Also when vent holes were drilled while in the factory. The guide drill point on the hole saw penetrated the ceiling insulation, letting in hot air into the a/c ducting. I just covered up the hole with some ducting tape. Is there a a/c unit in the bedroom?

Maybe this thread on the redwood forum might help as it talks about the baffle between the intake and returns on the ac's were wide open to each other cooling itself in a circle instead of sucking inthe room air and exhausting the cool air...

Redwood and Crossroads are sister companies, so maybe they make similar mistakes

Jonzy,

Has your issue been resolved?.. If not, I would be glad to speak to a representative and see what I can find out for you.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Johnyboytoo,

You are correct, CrossRoads and Redwood are sister companies. BUT the forums are designated for the specific brand. Also, a separate corporate firm owns the Redwood forum. So, they may not approve a thread that is not specifially RW related. They could maybe try just parts related questions, but I doubt the RW forum will allow specifically CrossRoads threads.

We apprecaite all of your inout and advice and we still advise you to use the CR and RW forum! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

Thank you,
-Taylor
