I have been and plan on using my TT at the very least twice a month or every other weekend. I have read a lot about emptying the tanks and hot weater heater, etc. my question is that for the amount of time I am storing my TT which is only about 10 days in between trips tops do I really have to empty everything? I would think I would empty everything before storing for a month or longer right?

I don't see any reason to empty it in between trips. I go a month at a time and haven't killed over from washing my hair with it Edited by: JKgrizzly

I only drain ours once a year to flush the sediment out of it.

I don't drain the hot water tank.
If I have not used the trailer for a couple of weeks I hook up water to the unit and flush all of the water lines - run water through each faucet. If I run allot of water to the gray water tanks I'll dump them before we travel.

yet another one who doesn't drain it until end of season. When it sits for awhile it will get flushed with next use. if worried about it, I sanitize again.

I pull the plug after every outing. I don't want that old s++t sitting in there creating a stink.
I guess everybody has their system.
