Question rv mattress

Hi, Would a 54 x 74 mattress be ok to get to replace the original mattress that came with Camper or will it be too short on the sides? I realize that size is a 60 x 74 but is hard to find a mattress that size....Thanks

We replaced our brand new "rockhard" mattress in our brand new rv with one the exact same size (60X74) from Camping World. New one came with a "pillowtop" as part of the top of the mattress. Now sleep like a baby on it. I think you'll find that 54x74 mattress will be too small, being 4" less on each side as compared to the larger "short queen" mattress you're replacing. Just my 2 cents worth.

That was one of the first things we did before we got it. Asked dealer to upgrade it. The one we got is pillowtop and is very comfy.

Get the regular queen for $50 less and cut it down. It's just foam.

Agree - match the home mattress !
We bought two foam mattress -
one for the rv and one for home so we don't have to 'adjust' and 'feel' no difference between the two

the original rv mattress never came out of the plastic and is in our utility building...

A mattress store like Verlo will make one to your custom size.
