You would be best to call Crossroads. I have a Z1-271 BH, and it has a walk on roof.

Yes...you should be able to walk on the roof. Crossroads could verify this, but I believe most all of their product lines have walkable roofs. For sure the Zinger and Z-1 (I have walked on mineseveral times).

My current trailer did not specify "walkable roof," so I checked with CR. It's OK to have one person up there for maintenance, covering, etc., but you can't invite a dozen friends with lawn chairs up there to watch the race.

Most roofs I have seen are so thin you can see the rafters through the EPDM. I find it is best if you have to walk on the roof to concentrate on walking on the trusses...they can bear your weight more easily. Better to be safe I believe.

Tator447 is right you have luan plywood on our roof witch is not even 1/4".
