Would the finishing nail gun have been to fasten the wall panel on tighter?
I never thought about double sided tape. It would leave a smoother finish under the wall tape
Not sure about tighter. The heads of the finishing nails are small and with the flex an RV has during travel, these heads pull through the softer wood on the trim tape very easy.
I peeled back the tape where the panel was loose, removed the factory staple and drill and screwed in SS screws. Masked off and sprayed auto headliner glue on both the wall and tape and reinstalled. Permanent fix for the loose panel.
