Washing & Waxing?

I wash my Z-1 regularly, at least twice a season. But does anyone use a sealer or wax on the aluminum sides?

The Mequiar's Quik wax (spray ) detailer works great to remove black streaks, bugs etc. Apply and buff with microfiber cloths. The finish is smoother to the feels (less wind drag. Can be purchased at most automotive parts stores (Auto- Zone, O'Reillys etc)
Works well on aluminum or Fiberglass panels. (I have a Z1 225 RB)

Be careful using wax on the decals. Wax is a petroleum product and can dissolve the glue holding the decals in place. They tend to curl at the edges.

And, welcome to the forum!

Washing and waxing

I wash and then wax (if you call it that) my Z1 with Aero cosmetics wash and wax. The stuff is amazing and you just spray on and wipe off. No buffing. Really speeds up the process of protecting your camper. I was so impressed I now use it on my cars too. You can put it on almost any surface and it protects. Even window frames and metal bumper. No white film. Donít take my word look at the reviews on Amazon.
