Sean,

You are a very optimistic person. You might get $20,000 for your RV. The truck is another story. Those Duramax trucks hold their value.

When you use the NADA RV web site you calculate ONLY based on the base value WITHOUT options. This was explained to me by three or four RV dealers when I was trying to determine a fair resale value for our former 2010 CF31QB. I listed it and sold it for $17,000. It had four brand new tires, new La Z Boy furniture, etc. We paid just under $30,000 new in August, 2009.

Price it like you want to sell it.

Yeah I knew it was optimistic at that price, but that price is with me already taking a loss. I'd take a bigger loss, but that is all I can cover. That's why I'm trying to sell them off as a package deal and use the value in the truck to offset the trailer. Thanks for the info on the NADA value...kind of strange that they have you pick all the additional options and they don't even count towards the fair resale. Take care!

I bought a 2009 CF32BL a little over a year ago from a dealer. It was only used a couple times. The factory plastic was still on the chairs and TV's and I paid right around 18,000 to 19,000 for it.

Good luck on selling yours.

Thanks for the info longhauler. The more research I do the more it looks like the best option is to sell the truck and trailer as a package deal fully turn key. Someone could head down to sunny Florida pick them up and camp their way home. The main reason I posted the sale on this site is to get some honest feedback and opinions. My family and I really enjoy this unit, but with a recent change in work schedules we just don't have the time to take it out anymore. We have only been able to get out twice in the past 6-8 months and we are able to camp year round. I didn't find too many 32BL's for sale let alone what they were actually getting for them. So with that said...I'm looking at a no haggle price of $63500 for both. Anyone have any opinions/feedback on the package deal?

I think your asking price for the truck is not unreasonable. Have you checked with places such as CarMax for a similar truck?

Dealers go buy the value....but markup to resell. With options added and what dealer mark up would be you could get over the book value. You just have to make it appealing to get lookers! The package deal definitely sound appealing . Good Luck
