Adding hitch

I have a 2018 forrest river cardinal 3456 and looking to install a 2 inch receiver hitch on rear has anyone had one installed.

I know a few on this forum had done it, but be sure it is welded properly to the frame.

Actually my camper goes in to get a hitch welded on tomorrow.

My advice; take it to a GOOD welder and tell him what you want to do with it and have it overbuilt. I have had receiver hitches added to my last 4 campers and all by a welder.

Is the receiver for a bike rack, a cargo carrier or for towing a trailer?
Can you tow doubles in your state?
Does your license allow you to?

My 2017 cruiser came with one from the factory. I put a bike rack on it but it broke the welds and fell off. Saw it on my rear camera before it came completely off and pulled over.Make sure it’s welded on real good.
