Andersen Rapid Jack

My question this product looks pretty good but all I see are the trailers with the wheels close short axle. My 31SB has the wide axle and wasn't sure if it would lift the other wheel????

I can't attest to the wide stance axles but the principle is sound. I use a similar product called Trailer Aid. If the terrain doesn't allow enough height, I place a leveling board (2x6) to give me more height. The Trailer Aid has a small section for the tire to sit once raised which is a slight benefit to keep from driving "off" the product.

Like Stan, I have the Trailer Aid and I can tell you from first had experience its well worth the money to have a product like this, Between this and a battery powered impact you can change out a tire in minutes and be back on the road.

Looks slick, but what happens if you overshoot and roll it? The other style has a stop.

One more thing to grab If we ever get rid of this snow. First trip this year April 30th going to Pine Creek PA for some great kayak and bike down the PA Grand Canyon Camping at the Petty Coat Junktion Campground. Did that last year in a tent and I have to say one of the prettiest kayak trips you would ever do. We are with a group of like 30 folks from all over that come up. If you all get a chance to do this one it is awesome. I will be happy to have our new Zinger up there to sleep comfy this year.

I use the Rapid Jack for leveling at the campsite. I bought one for each wheel (2 total). They make leveling a trailer the most simple thing in the world. They have a video on that as well. But having them, I know that I am in good shape if I ever have a flat. As was stated above, if the flat does not quite clear the ground, then I can put a 2x4 under the good tire for a couple of extra inches of lift. Some things are so simple it makes me wonder why I did not think of it first.

I can tell you the trailer aid did not work on my wide stance axles with my zinger.

Or you could just make a ramp out of 2x8's. making it a stair step design. and saving the money to buy one.. I use it on my wide stance tires just fine.
