Hello all,

Does anyone have any experience with the Anderson WD Hitch?

I looked at getting one, only drawback was that a lot of customers said they had to weld the RV frame brackets on so they would not slip, since this unit relies on tension between the hitch side and the RV brackets. Do some research and see what you can find. If it wasn't for that I would have bought one, light weight, no grease, etc.

Are the RV frame brackets welded to the frame on yours?

No, they are put on at a slight angle The bottom is a little (very little) forward and we do check the bolts from time to time.

Before my 5er I got rid of an Equalizer hitch for a Hensley arrow, best money I spent for pulling a TT. They have a trade-in program if you ever go to a fifth wheel. (It's pricey but worth every penny).
