All you guys that are towing with a 1/2 ton, here is a little info. Dodge is coming out with a 3 liter dieselin their 1/2 ton later this year. It's a V6. Also will have 8 speed tranny. That should help keep it in that sweet zone for max torque.

Ford Eco Boost has 365 HP and 420fp of torque and would be lower maintenance cost. I agree with Russ that 3 liter diesel in not an upgrade unless you just plain want a 1/2 ton diesel.

Could be a good idea to wait a year or 2 to iron out the bugs and to really see what its capable of doing. But if we see Dodge coming out with one, there will be a Ford and GM equivalent very soon after.
