That would be far easier than a tongue mounted unit. That being said, there is a reason that all those videos were shot on pavement. That small wheel on your front tongue lift is not going to roll on grass or gravel and is going to bend or snap and there you will sit!

just like with ANYTHING, there are issues with it,
but there's a reason you have different sized sockets in your toolbox,
a different tool for different jobs ...

I agree with you both also...I could see this being a problem with getting the nose wheel stuck on uneven concrette & folding it under the trailer...

Sound like a new product is going to hit the market....A wheel that hitches to the hitch instead of rolling on the little jack wheel. I was surprise the company didn't already have that when you purchase the drive system...I can't believe they never had any jack that bent/collapse from hitting a crack/stone ??? from the weight of the trailer.
