just bought a 97 12v cummins help!

Hello everyone! Proud owners of a new Zinger 300rk bumper pull. We also just bought a 97 ram with the 5.9 12v cummins. It is bone stock and runs excellent. I am putting the weight distribution and anti sway kit on it this evening and am hoping that she'll do the job as we are on a budget. The dry weight of our zinger is 6740 no propane no water. Total weight with all of our belongings will make the trailer weigh in around 7800. Does anyone here think this will be a hard pull or should we be ok?
I've read till my head hurts trying to understand how tow ratings work but still just lost lol.
Thanks !

Not sure if you have a 2500 or 3500 but either should be quite happy towing that tt. this might help you with getting your hitch properly set up.

Awesome write up looks like tons of great imformation. I'll start reading after dinner! It's a 2500 single cab 8 foot bed automatic 354 rear end. I paid 1800 for it from the original owner bc he said he wanted to help us full fill our traveling dreams. We spent a couple hours at his place and he was super upfront. She's not a beauty queen but drove her 2 hours home no issues at all! Not that that means it'll be just as good towing. I was just hoping that 8000 lbs is realistic for the truck

Do you know what the horsepower and torque rating is for the Ram? The Cummins should do you well and even if it needs some TLC, parts and upgrades are an easy find. Welcome and good luck!
