Nice
Larry,
Nice looking vehicle. It looks like everything you need and then some. 397HP...almost 800 lb ft of torque, exhaust brake...you can handle quite the load with that. I hope it treats you as well as your previous ride did. Did you trade your old vehicle in? When do you get all your equipment installed into this one?
Travel well,
Jim

Keeping the '03 until the utility bed is transferred. Stock bed is ready for removal, just need a few extra bodies tomorrow to move it onto sawhorses. Already have the frame brackets for the hitch ready to install. Have an appointment on Sat. at a local shop to lift the utility bed off the '03 and onto the '13. Then I get to finish the hitch install and wire the rear lights. Should be ready to tow by the end of next week.

Well, the utility bed is now on the new truck, ran into a few problems with the bumper, fuel filler hose and recessed floor. But the underbed hitch brackets are installed, just need to install the cross bed rails. Working on hooking up the tail lights now. Waiting on some new tail light lenses before I can drive it again.

Well I finally have the new tow vehicle ready and here is a pic.
Checked the hitch setup last week and I have 11 inches of clearance with the Cruiser about 1 inch low in front. Will probably add running boards in front of the rear wheels. The bed needs some touch-up paint, especially on the bumper, but for a 10 yr old bed it looks ok for now.

Yes, Mark, the Duramax LML, introduced in 2011 uses DEF like the Fords.
