New tow vehicle

Well,
I finally found a truck ! Found a 2012 F-250 still on the lot new, at a small town dealership in Oklahoma. They made me a VERY good deal and everyone went away happy. Larait, diesel, 20 inch wheels, 4x4.

Good luck with your new TV.

Anaro, you'll have to start looking in Oklahoma for your new TV.

Great find. Best of luck. Have you hooked up to your 305 yet? I have 18" wheels and have close to 8" rail clearance also 4x4.
Go Well!

I haven't hooked up my camper yet. Im going to get a spray in bed liner and then install a hitch. As I have said on the forum before, I have a goose neck ball adapter due to my work truck. I think Iam going to install a B&W turn over ball and a Anderson ultimate 5th wheel connection so I can get the best compromise and use with both trucks.

We are planning a trip thru Arkansas this summer , I think that will give me plenty of hills to test things out ! If any one knows any great places in Arkansas im all ears.

Ver nice truck I've been looking at the very same truck for a few weeks now. Although I can't fine any new ones for a decent price.

You guys that are looking for Ford f250 with diesel....keep looking. It took a while for me to find a replacement for my f150 fx w/5.4L gas, but it was DEFINITELY worth the wait. For the people that found one...ain't it great!!

Yep.

Sometimes you don't know what you don't know, until you know.

Good choice.

I talked to my dealer again today and he suggested if I can waiting until the summer. He said the 2015 F150 will put lots of pressure on the F250 and there should be so great deals to be had. Since I've never had a sales guy try to put off closing a deal I think I'll keep waiting and looking.

I think the properly equipped f150 is already putting pressure on the f250, and next year when they bring out the aluminum f150 it will add to the pressure.
If we can believe what they are saying now.

Thanks but no thanks. I'll stick with my 8,000lb truck for towing. I like a little mass in front of my trailer plus that diesel engine to pull it.

To each their own.
Nobody said you had to get one. We are simply stating facts on what they are talking about with the new 2015s.

I agree with Cliff. I see a lot of F150's pulling some large 5th wheels even with all the great towing adds it is still a 1/2 ton gasser.

Getting off topic here but curious. Regarding the aluminum body on the 2015 F150 will body shops handle damage without special training or tools? Just a thought.
