New Tow Vehicle!
Finally pulled the trigger!!
Traded in our trusty Trailblazer on a 2015 Sierra SLE Z71. We have the 5.3L with 3.42 rear end. Truck should handle our Zinger well with a 9200# tow rating.

Nice looking truck. Just a little advice, use the GM oil filter on the 5.3. it has a check valve in it. It keeps the oil from draining back. After market filters do not have this. I had to replace the cam and lifters on 2 trucks this month because of this

Great truck best of luck with it. I'm sorry fhenn, but almost all aftermarket oil filters have check valves in them. If that's what the dealer told you, IMHO it's bs. Here's a good breakdown on a bunch of oil filters including the ACDelco Gm filter. http://www.austincc.edu/wkibbe/oilfilterstudy.htm Although the author states that this is not gospel, the proof is in cutting all those filters open and looking with his own eyes.

I have always thought that GMC's front grill has looked better than it's counterpart Chevy grill and headlights....IMHO....

Thanks all!
I agree with both - always preferred the GMC front end. We love the truck.
I won't worry about filter - GMC dealership will do first half dozen oil changes, and I gave up doing it myself years ago (just not cost effective anymore).
Now to find the best hitch

Sweet looking truck!
Get the equalizer, nothing else is worth looking at IMO.
