Noisy hitch

I've had my 28BH about two months now, and feel like I've got my hitch setup down pretty well. My only issue now is that the hitch is quite noisy in a campground- it's not the sway control, it's the bars and hitch- moans and groans quite loudly especially in the turns. Any ideas what that could be? Should I grease the hitch ball again?

Grease on ball and tennis ball or tin can over it when not hooked up. Grease on torsion bar part that goes up into head. And a bit of grease on the 2 small sway bar balls . Loosen the sway a bit after you stop at park office before you drive into campground . No need to take it off .

Minor correction on removal of sway bar:

You SHOULD remove it before maneuvering into your campsite. I personally have overextended a sway bar. Take it off.

You will either bend it in half (tight turn that collapses it) or shear the ball right off (overextended sway bar).

I did a u-turn out of a gas station and overextended sway bar. The ball sheared right off the hitch head with an incredible "bang".
