Reese 16K Titan

I just bought and installed a new Reese 16K Titan hitch. Can anyone tell me if there is a requirement to grease the contact points between the hitch head and the hitch head support? There are two small points where there is metal on metal contact - where the head assembly rests on the head support. You can see them on the image - at the centre point of the crossmember.

If it's a pivot point and there is metal to metal contact then I would add a small amount of grease. My Reese has a pin that serves that purpose, and I keep it lightly greased.

Yea, give it a coating of grease. At the least, it will help suppress squeaking.
