Suspension question

My 2012 Titan has 90k miles, and its time to replace the front struts and springs. I'm curious to know if once I get this work finished, if I will have to re-adjust my equalizer WD hitch?
I plan to take measurements with/without the Camper hooked up before and after to see if it makes any difference.
Not that I'm worried about it if I do need to adjust, just curious if anyone knows the answer.....

Take measurements of your truck unhitched from ground to wheel wells before new parts. Take measurements after and see if there’s a difference. I doubt you’ll need to make any adjustment.

If you put the same length struts on you should be okay. When I replaced the struts on my TrailBlazer a few years ago, GM had many different lengths available. I replaced mine with struts that were 1/2" longer.

Actually, I ordered a set of Bilsteins that can be adjusted for ride height with a snap ring and grooves on the shock, so I should be able to compensate for any minor differences.

Years ago a co-worker bought a new trailer and F150 to tow it. We told him he should have gotten a 3/4 ton. Hed said no, the 150 was fine, until he towed the trailer for any distance. I know the Titan is a fairly good 1/2 ton, but even your 26ft trailer is pushing the edge of your towing envelope. I hate to tell you, but once you start looking at replacing or upgrading components, and a good suspension upgrade will set you back $2 or $3000, you may as well start thinking about what whether a new vehicle may be a better bet for the long term.

I appreciate that input, but I’m not really doing any suspension “upgrades”.., I’m merely replacing a leaking strut.
I crunched all the numbers years ago, and the Titan is capable of handling my TT, albeit close to what you call “pushing the envelope”. We made a trip in 2019 of a few thousand miles, without any weight issues, so Im comfortable with my setup for the time being.
That being said, I hope to go full time once I retire, and at that point I will be purchasing more truck, as well as a new TT, possibly 5er.
