Tire pressure

Doing my pre-check for our trip this Sunday. Checked the tire pressure and to my surprise all 4 had 80lbs in them. Last I checked was last September for our Tennessee trip.

This is the first time I can recall that I didn't have to top off the air. Of course, this is the first full year I had the Goodyear Endurance tires and not the leaky China bombs.

I do keep the spare tire pressure at 65 lbs. Heard stories of them blowing apart without ever using them.
And yes, I did not replace me spare tire.....yet.

I had a 3 year old spare that came with the trailer we had bought new on the rear bumper mount with a cover on it and it let go one night while we were having dinner in the trailer. Thought I was dead after the explosion

Mine all had 76 psi when I checked them before this trip. It was also the first time I had checked them since last fall's Tennessee trip. All 5 of my wheels are the same, so I use all 5 tires when I rotate them.

If the temperature was appreciably warmer when you checked them this time, they could have still lost pressure (And should have at least lost 1 psi each month). Tires lose or gain 1-2 pounds per square inch (PSI) for every 10℉ change in temperature...
