Towing 35' trailer

can I tow a 35' travel trailer with a one ton dodge diesel without a weight distribution hitch? I just need to get it home. About 200 miles.

Most likely you could, question is can it be done safely?
Lots of variables in your post, need more info, like year, model, & trim level Dodge 1 ton truck? Dually or SRW?
Estimated overall weight and tongue weight of the trailer.
Highway it country roads?

2006 crew cab 8' bed srw dodge 3500.
I don't know the weight of the trailer. It is a 2003 Keystone hornet 35' park model. It is mostly highway.

Would keeping my speed lower help?

I have only had 5th wheels, so don't know what to expect from a bumper pull.

To be sure it would be safe, you’ll need to know the trailer weight AND the tongue weight. Without that information, it’d be an educated guess.

I have a 3/4 ton diesel truck with a 6’ bed and a 29’ 5600 lb bumper pull trailer. I have pulled without my load equalizing hitch (when I took it home). Going SLOWER, it was not dangerous. My front end was about 3” higher and much lighter when turning.
