Travel with full fresh water?
(Currently towing an 8k 30' TT with a 2015 F-150 XLT 3.5L eco max tow)
So I just got a build date for my F-350 7.3L the other day, and anxious to take delivery. My question is for those who have ample payload, are you comfortable traveling with a full tank of fresh water? Is there a concern with the the support brackets? We normally tow dry for payload concerns.
I would rather fill up at home where we have lake Michigan water, and for long trips would like to carry as much fresh water as we safely can as we "Harvest Host", boondock stops between our destination.
Or even short trips where I don't have to worry about filling up at the campground as daylight begins to fade quickly in the fall when we leave on Friday after work and frequently have to setup at the last light of astronomical twilight, so every minute counts.
We store our camper at our rental property where we normally plug it in the night or two before to get prepped and let the fridge get cold for travel so being able to fill the fresh tank would be of great benefit.
