Truck size

So I have a 2015 250RB and want to know what some people think about what I am pulling it with.. I have a 2014 Ram 1500 short bed regular cab 4x4 I am pulling it with. I think sometimes I should have gotten a QC Ram put at the time we had a smaller camper. The truck pulls it just fine just looks so small in front of the camper lol.

That trailer appears to be in the low 5000# range ? I would think that would be well within your trucks tow range. If it pulls good and your happy with the setup, I would stick with it. Of course I'm guessing at the numbers for the trailer, and truck. I know nothing about either, since I have never owned either.

What does it say on your door post that your truck is rated for?

Spec. on the 250RB says it grosses out at 7764#

Actually the Regular cab has a bigger load capacity than will the four doors and extened cab. When you add weight it takes away from you capacities

Longer vehicle wheelbases are preferable for towing. They tend to have less sway and are easier to control.

Too much truck is always a better problem to have.

Max weight vs driving comfort are two diff things. My Burb was rated at towing my popup no issue, but when the hills got steep, it wasn't really enough.
