When we came home from our last trip we only had 1 bolt in the equalizer where the arms attach to the part that goes in the hitch the bolts are 3/4 thick and 4.5" long. The bolt had sheared off at the end of the threads. I called equalizer and theasked me to email a picture andthey sent me 2 replacment bolts free of charge. When we removed the other bolt to replace it that was also worn at the threads. I think they realized there wasa design flaw because the new bolts do not have threads that start until after the bolt is completely through unlike the old style where the threads were about 1"into the mount. This is a 2005 equalizer. We were lucky ,but I wanted to let others know so this doesn't happen to anyone else.
