Curiosity got the best of me today so I weighed the tongue weight. My exact weight is dead on 1000 lb., 2 full bottles, the battery, tools and everything else inside the through and through, plus the odds and ends that remain in the trailer ahead of the wheels. I always guessed it around 750lb because I always was under the impression the dry weight was around that 560lb. Then today I found another spec sheet that had it at 706lb. I guess the problem is our 2011 has the 2012 body style with the gelcoat front cap and exact same appearance as the 2012 picture. So since I had it mostly winterized and already parked in the back yard on a very level spot thought today I would weigh it at the tongue rather than at the jack for piece of mind. But I did get a little surprise by a couple hundred pounds, but it is still a safe hook for our truck. The next tow will add a few more ponies under the hood as this truck won't tear the hitch off when you have to pass a diddle doddle on the road, she gets the job done but needs some space to do it, lol. And yes you read that correct, it's winterized as a couple days ago when the temp dipped to minus 3c and I'm just a tad to old to stand on my head to repair that cracked elbow that could only happen where you can't even see it like under the shower between hell and worse language..
