I pull with an 04.5 Chevy 2500HD with a 6.6 Duramax and Allison trans. My truck is originally one of the overheaters, but I have it all but fixed. I put in a bigger trans cooler, an auxilliary radiator (have a fan to add to that) a new intercooler and bigger pipes, we have the entire 2006 airbox all the way to the turbo, a banks speedbrake and tuner box, an extra fuel filter, and in fact I have another one and a lift pump that I will be building a dual rear filter setup with the pump.

We bought the truck right, 10 grand off sticker, so I am still further ahead doing the mods to it and even being 8 years old MK and I have only put 62000 miles on it.

We have a truck cap and a bedrug in the bed and are getting sliding windows next week so we can get some AC back to the dogs. So far we haven't taken them far from home and had to watch the traveling time and heat at that even with the windows on the cap opened. This way I will put a small 12 volt fan by the window and blow cold air back there. The boys have their own cages they ride in so they are safe when I open up the back to get them out.

I added bigger Hellwig sway bars, front and rear and Bilstein shocks. It is a towing machine that rides and handles like a car from the suspension changes I have done.

We pull a Cruiser CT30QBX and for the most part, can't tell its back there.

Had a Chevy for 11 years and 199,000 miles - '01 Duramax. Now have a Ford. I bought Ford because they did not take any bail-out money to stay in business.

PA? cool, from NE, just south of Elmira NY, Troy, PA, how do you like the F350? Just traded for F350 Dually, 6.7. Was hoping for better milage but not crossing my fingers. Get a new hitch, Reese, on Thur.

The 350 is a sweet ride! More power than my '01 Dmax and better mileage. Also alot quieter. Looking forward to many happy years with it. Good luck with yours!

Well I USED to pull with this nice looking old Ford, but my turbo blew out on the way to the rally and gave me all kinds of problems getting home. The trip home went through 11 quarts of oil (lots of stops) and one call to AAA. Now, it is sitting in my drive, not starting, still needing a turbo, maybe an engineand for sale on CL. Not sure what I go with next.

I tow with a 2004 Ford F250 Superduty with, if you believe all the gossip and rumors must be the only 6.0l Powerstroke that hasn't failed, died, or crapped out on the highway. Dunno, I've never considered myself a "lucky" guy so maybe it is just because I kept it stock and maintained.
My only regret is not getting a F350 instead. That, andpromisingtheMrs. that this would be my last truck purchase. The new Superduty is pretty nice. Since she won't let me buy a new truck I am looking at a new two wheeler instead

Just bought a 2012 F150 XLT, Candy Red, Ecoboost with the max tow option. Only one short trip so far, but love how it tows our little ST 20 CK. this is our first 'real' truck. Had a Honda Ridgeline previously (see sig photo). No comparison.

Hey, no Honda option in the survey results .

We tow with a 2008 Chevy 2500HD Crew Cab, Duramax & Allisons. The only thing I wish I had know when I got the truck is that with the right order code, you can get the 1 ton springs but even with that, it tows great.
