Well we have had this trailer for two weeks now. I like the way it was equipped and the floor plan. After owning our previous Z1, I knew buying a camper you do not get the quality you would expect with a new car. For the price of these units at Thompson RV, I can except some problems and will just repair them myself.

One thing I noticed is the air conditioning was not keeping up. I have seen some posts or threads here with similar problems. So the first thing I noticed is when I removed my filter on the inside of the air conditioner I had cold air on the ducted side get drawn back thru the evaporator. The tape used to seal the steel divider was to small and has came loose. I also checked the end of the two ducts. One in the front bed room and the other in the rear bunk house. Both ends appear to be cap with foam insulation and aluminum tape. This appears to be doing its job.

Then last night I pull down the inside panel of the living room/kitchen sky light. I removed this to add a dark piece of tint. I do not want to block all the light but a large portion of it. I used a Heat Shield 95% light blocking tint. Boy I am glad I wanted to tint that sky light. The edge of the skylight was right next to the air conditioning duct. I guess I had a rare option. I had a chilled and possibly condensating sky light. The piece of wood on the front side of the sky light had a split along the top edge and it was used anyways. So this left a hole that is connected to the air conditioning duct. So the AC was blowing into the sky light. I used some foil tape to close the hole up.

Well today was a productive day. Installed 3 Max Air vent covers. Went with the black ones to match the rest of the accessories. Took less then an hour to do all three.
I had just installed JT strong arms on my last Z1. So I removed them and installed the front 4 bars today. Of coarse most of the tools are home and I was at our permanent spot. Only had one 5/16 drill bit and the corners were chipped. Luckily I only had to drill 4 of the 5/16 holes. The rear two stabilizer bars will be installed when I get a longer piece of steel to span between the two frame rails.
