Does anyone here have a cover for their 5th wheel? We're trying to figure out what size to order but it's about an hour away and I hate to make 2 trips (one to measure and one to put cover on). All I keep reading is NOT to use the measurement in the manual.

Is the cab usually counted in the measurement on these or not? It's listed as just under 35 feet. Should we go up to the next size or use 35?

Can you place the make, model, and year of your RV in your signature?

Just a question -- What is the "can"? If i were to use a cover it would use the "box " size - not including the hitch.

Sorry, tried to edit and can't figure out how. I meant the "cab". How do I determine the box size vs the hitch? It's a 5th wheel and I just keep reading that there aren't standard measurements. Some include the cab and some don't - they just measure length off the truck.

I know going out to measure it is best. Just trying to save a trip. ��

Not sure what the "Cab" is. Unless someone here has that camper and would measure theirs not sure what size you would need. That said i looked on etrailer and they show some that fit from X to X size. They may have a custom fit not sure. You could check them out online and they are in Wentzville MO.so shipping may not take too long

I don't know if this link works, but when I search for actual length of 5th wheels I've seen them mention the cab a lot. I'm assuming it's the front area that is technically in the truck when towing. I'm not sure. This is all new to me.

I would think most any retailer that sells RV covers would sell them by Make/model/year. I guess I would shy away from anybody selling by just size, as there are a lot of variables.
That said, Crossroads publishes their brochures, with specifications on their web site.

I've researched them and found very few
that matches brand and model. They are usually sold by length.
