Rezerve rfz31bh

We are checking out the Rezerve bunkhouse. Curious if anyone is towing one of these with a short bed and if they have had any cab interference issues. Towing with a Chevy 2500 and we are looking at a 2016 model year Rezerve. Thanks.

What am I over looking? I can't find a Rezerve rfz30bh in the lineup.

Anyway, welcome to the forum Brent.

Sorry - I had 30bh. Should have been rfz31bh in the original post.

I tow a 5th wheel with a Silverado 2500 standard bed with no problems. I didn't realize that Chevrolet put short beds on anything but 1500s. I don't think you would be able to tow a 5th wheel with a 5' 9" bed.

It's a 6 foot bed. I tow a Larado 30bh 5th wheel with it now. No slider hitch. Previous truck was a 3500 Chevy with 8 foot bed.
We have not seen this Rezerve yet in person. I don't see anywhere it claim to be short bed (6') friendly. A lot of the new ones advertise "Max Turn Radius'" or something similar.
I can't see a clear enough picture online to tell if the front cap has as much rounding at the corners as our Laredo does. I don't want to buy a slider.
Thanks for the responses !

Is there a specific reason you don't want to buy a slider??

When I bought my Cruiser, I got them to throw in the slider for free. Maybe you can negotiate if you really need one.

I'll be in the same situation when I go to purchase, we'll be getting a Reese revolution pin box which puts the pivot point 22" further back and will hook up to your 5th wheel hitch. From what I've read online it we'll not void your warranty. We're looking to get a 31bh in spring of 2017, just been watching the boards to keep up with the company. Let us know how you like it!

Can't speak for the rezerve, we have a 2014 cruiser aire bunk house with a 2015 Chevrolet 2500 with no problems! We traded a 2007 laredo 30bh - and after multiple issues we are happy to say we are happy, ,nothing is problem free and the amenities on our cruiser aire are fantastic!

Good to hear on the cruiser not needing a slider. We are also pricing out one of those. Not good to hear you had some issues though.

It was a. Struggle; but we are happy with the end product and the way crossroads stood behind it. We do a lot of weekend trips so ours is definitely used.

I just order a 31BH. I went and seen one this summer. Just went to the RV show and order one. I have a Dodge Mega Cab with a 6'4" bed. I don't want to buy a slider either. The price on them aren't friendly. And I need a BW companion slider(about $1500). The Anderson ultimate fifth wheel hitch just scares me a little. Any thoughts?

You asked just about the same thing here.

Did you read the link I put up there? That should pretty much answer your question pertaining to the goose neck hitch.

As long as you have written approval by Lippert, such as an email, then, according to Lippert, you're free to install it.

Worked out a price on the Rezerve today. I think we'll got check it out in person Saturday. I'm anxious to see it. Kinda sucks the temperature is in the single digits here now. Not looking forward to towing in this weather but we'll see what happens Saturday.

Congrats Baboiler! My order could be done in 8 weeks to 16 weeks. Just in time to camp. So have you decided on a hitch yet?
