How do I make the electric fridge work while driving.

Hi folks
I have just recently picked up a Cameo. During the walk thru I was told the fridge was hooked up to inverter so it would run while not connected. I got it home from the dealership and everything in it was warm.
How does one turn on the inverter ??

Is it a residential refrigerator or RV refrigerator? Are there any switches on the refrigerator?

Samsung Fridge

Hi!
It is a residential fridge.
I'm was assuming it was a missing connection.
I found the inverter and traced both + and - leads back to the battery. The negative was in the battery box but not not connected to the battery. . I think this is my problem but am afraid to hook it to the battery untill dealer calls me back.

We did a walk thru and the tech did still me it was disconnected from shore power and running on batteriesso I'm pretty confused.
Thanks in advance for suggestions.

Ed I would hate to venture a guess cause I'm not familiar with the residential fridge they are installing in some of the higher end models.

Your rig is more in the category of the Redwoods. I think you could get your question answered over there.

Connection pictures aren't clear, but usually red positive & black negative.
It's also acceptable to have a black wire with red electrical tape on it to signify it is to connected to positive terminal .
That being said - one would expect more connected wires at these battery terminals

Ed I would connect it to the - terminal
They probably disconnected it because they did not know how to shutoff the invertor or the fridge and did not want to run the batteries down

On my unit black is positive and white is negative. There is a sticker from the factory on the "A" frame indicating that.

On my cruiser Black is negative and their is a switch on front of the magnum you have to turn on.make sure the black cable is negative or you might damage your inverter.

This falls under the heading of "Shoulda Woulda Coulda" You should have told them to hook it up and get it running before you took it home...I would take it back to the dealer and tell him FIX THIS...IMHO...

Thanks to all!
Spent Sunday in the battery compartment poking and learning. The ground was definitely to the inverter. I wound up having to rig up both batteries together then attaching the ground for the inverter. Once I did this I found the power button for the inverter. I then disconnected shore power and pushed the inverter button. All worked great. It's a shame they don't have an easy reach power button, the unit is just a little out of the way.
Again thanks for your help!
