2009 Cruiser CF32BL AC Problem

When we try to turn on our AC, the compressor comes on for just a couple of seconds and then shuts off. We purchased our Cruiser new in 2008. It may be time for a new AC unit, but didn't know if anyone has experienced this before. Thanks

Here is an answer I found.

Quote:
There is always a possibility the pressure switch on the compressor is going bad, or a start capacitor is getting hot. Either way I would advise a tech look at the AC. Parts in the upper area of the AC carry voltage even after you unplug your unit and if touched can knock you on your butt and seriously hurt you.
