I know this might be overkill but I had the exact same experience, only with the lower corners of my wardrobes either side of the bed head.
First night I rolled over, clobbered my elbow on the unfinished sharp corner of the veneered particle board and woke with a sore arm and bloodied sheets.
I remedied this using pine outside corner molding from Home Depot.
I cut lengths to make a left and right handed 'L' shape that fit under the wardrobe. I mitered the corner joint, square cut the end that touches the side of the bedroom and tapered the end that fits flush against the front of the trailer. Once stained and varnished to match the existing woodwork they were glued in place.
I now have silky smooth finished corners and new sheets.
And it looks nice too.
