Walking on roof?

Can you walk on the roof of the Ultra Lite Sunset Trail models?

No you cannot walk on the roof. If you go on the roof use a piece of 2'x4' ply wood to distribute you wieght. That is one of the places the manufacturers are cutting the weight of the unit is the roof structure.

Thanks

We are taking our time with our TT selection and this was one of the things we were considering.

I researched trailers for a long time before buying our 2015 Grand Reserve. You will be hard pressed to find an ultralight trailer with the arched roof on any brand that is walkable.
I know Crossroads added a ladder/walkable roof in 2016 to the Grand Reserve line and than pulled the feature a year later. Assumption here, but adding the reinforced roof adds considerable weight to a trailer.

I think the biggest problem with the roofs not being walkable, is the thin decking they are using. You can't put to much weight on 5/16 material.
