Volante 240RL

Hi, we have not talked with many of you in a long time. We have been thinking of downsizing a little for a quite a while. Camping world dropped the right cookie on our computer and this silly fifth wheel kept popping up. Well needless to say the old 30sk is gone and tomorrow the new Volante is coming home. Naturally the weather forecasters are predicting a Blizzard, Hopefully we get the unit home before the wind gets to bad. Not a lot of posts about these trailers yet but that will soon change. We told the dealer he could have his tires back we will use our own. We kept our Demco pinbox that goes on first to cut down on the chucking. Still have our steady fast stabilizers that's next when the snow stops. Deanna says I can't start tearing out panels and such right away like we did with the Cruiser. We are really happy with the layout of the rig and hope we enjoy it as much as the last one.

Welcome back to both of you. It has been a long time since talking at the Texas rally in 2010. Hope life has treated you well since then.

We have looked at the floor plan on that model. It doesn't seem to come with a pantry. That is a big deal for us. Curious as to what you guys do to compensate for that?????

We are still downsizing but at this point we are using one of the hallway closets. Clothes are a bigger issue after losing that big bedroom closet. It will take some time I am constantly asking Deanna where things are.

So it actually does have a pantry, in the hall across from the bathroom . One side is a closet to hang clothes and the other side we use for the pantry. It works great and has enough room for everything we need.

Actually I got the 240RL mixed up with the 250RL.
I see now the 240 has a pantry. I suppose they use the hutch in the 250 for a pantry.
