Slide with Leveling

Just wondering I’m doing the setup wrong. I’ve always leveled our trailer first then put out the slides. However when we do this our trailer will no longer be level side to side. I’m sure it’s due to the weight of the slide. My research states you always level before putting out slides however today I saw a video showing the company putting the slides out first then leveling it. Owners Manuel wasn’t help with a trailer with slides.

Knowing the slide will let it settle down lower I usually setup with the slide side a little higher. (not much)

I never try to get the camper perfectly level. I run it high in the front, and a little lower on the slide. That way the rain water will run off a little better, and not have the tendency to cause trouble.

When I had my TT I did the same as Lloyd. I set the jacks down then extended the slide and tightened the opposite jacks a little more as they did loosen up a touch.

We level side to side then front to back then the jacks down and run out the room/rooms. Never noticed much of a difference in the level.
