a bit off topic, but how did you upload an animated avatar? I tried a few months ago and I got an error message the site prohibits them.

If you notice on your user cp, you can click avatar. There's a note that says:

Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 125 by 125 pixels or 50.0 KB (whichever is smaller).

I saved the avatar to my desktop and uploaded it to "Photobucket."
I edited the size down to 125 x 125. Then I uploaded it to the avatar area of my cp.

Animated files are not allowed as avatars.... Static images only.

You must have different rules for the site team. There are site team members with animated avatars.

Mark, if you remember I was able to put an animated dolphin as your avatar, but apparently, you cannot use animated pictures. We get no special privileges for our profiles and we have no special rules besides our moderator tools.

At this point, it doesn't matter to me either way, just pointing out it works for some users, but not all.

An animated avatar is the least the site admin can do for all the time the moderators put into the site.

Animated avatars aren't currently supported by the board.
