Congrats on the new RAM and camper, I wish I could get 21 with my 2011 Cummins. The best I get is 18 and 12 to 13 towing, but I also have the 4.10 rear end.

And the best part is as the miles go up so does the mileage as it breaks in. Fords take about 25k, I don't know about the Cummins....
Let us know how it goes the first time out with the trailer. I think you will love it....

Longhauler... funny you should mention gear ratio. I think sometimes the gearing is overlooked by a lot of folks looking for a TV. With my 6.7powerstroke, 50kmiles, I am averaging around 14-14.5mpg around town and up to 19.3 on a longer trip. The f250 has 3.55 gears and at 70mph she's turning around 1750-1800rpm. A good friend has a 2000 7.3powerstroke with 3.86 gears and gets about the same around town. He turns around 1600rpm at 70mph. Neither of us have towed our trailers yet this year, so I will be curious to see what effect engine size and gears have on our respective rigs.

Mike I think you will be much happier with this decision. I had the old armada (Nissan version of the QX) and was miserable towing my current tt. I stepped up to my f250 diesel and am loving towing! You will be grinning towing your beautiful new combo. Congrats and enjoy it.

Towing that 32BH was amazing with the new truck - it was barely working!! Drive home was smooth and safe - wasn't worried at all. Now getting used to the extra length in backing into the driveway and around the storage yard - now that was a different story , very happy - glad we changed upl..
