I'm not sure if the new unit we have on order has the remote or not, I see it is a $500 plus option...

For those that have it Is it worth it ?

I had one for the Cougar that ran the slides and the landing gear, used the landing gear one all the time and the slideswear nice to have when parked in tight spots so I could stand outside and see the distance I had to the object.

But notsure it was worth 500 bucks, I believe the ones on the Patriot/Provincial run the awning, the slides andthe landing gear along with the door locks and related soperhaps with the extra uses it is worth it.

Comments ?

turn the scare light on when you came back after dark, sit in the shade and put the stabilizers down, stand next to that power box or tree while putting the slides out-worth it to me

That is what I was thinking, I've emailed my dealer to find out if it is too late to have it added, not sure if they have started building our trailer or not. If not I'll have it added......

Guess I'll find out tomorrow....

Had the remote on the 305sk Cruiser all of last year and it came in very andy specially on lots with mature trees you can outside and make the slide extend cleanly. One nightwe came in late in the rainand it was very pleasant to be able to turn on the light and extend the awning before getting out of the vehicle.

It should be standard. Get it if you can.

I got a hold of our dealer and he told meit wasn't too late to order the remote pkg asourCF345RF isn't coming off the line untilMarch 12 and will then go to the paint shop for 3 days or so.

I ordered the Fob pkg so I think we now have all the options you can get except the auto closing vents. We opted for the Max Airs instead as we like leaving our vents open all the timefor air flow regardless of weather.

Thanks for the info and feedback folks...!
