After all the looking and asking a bunch of questions on this forum and getting a lot of help. Looks like we are leaning heavily toward RV Wholesalers in Ohio. They really do beat any deals I can get around here, Florida. The nice thing is Iam from Ohio and we were planning a trip up there anyway and they are about 3 hours from where Iam going. I have read a lot of good things about them.

My only question is they Advertise a vast RV Service Network, When I called they have none in Jacksonville,Fl. Looking at their map of service places they have pins all over Florida. I just wonder if maybe that is not a little inflated. Has anyone used one of their Service Centers.

Any Crossroads dealer can do warranty work. If there is no Crossroads dealer in your area, any repair center can do warranty work with pre-approval from Crossroads. RVW's "national" service center network would have no bearing on my decision on were to buy a Crossroads trailer.

Try Terrytown - http://terrytownrv.com/ in Grand Rapids MI. Great prices that RVW couldn't match when I bought mine. Call 616.836.4870, ask for Bob Wells, tell them Hank Hagquist sent ya, if you buy I get a "bonus".

Our Cruiser came from RVW two years ago.We were satisfied with the excellent price. Every claim they made at sales time was true at the delivery, no pressure. They tried to make the PDI too quick for my liking but I slowed them down and was shown everything.

We have had issues needing warranty service including replacement of the rooftop a/c. I have found that most CR dealers are willing to dowarranty service work. The a/c was even replaced by a horse trailer dealer that is also a Dometic service center. Dometic furnished the new a/c unit and CR paid for the installation.

RVW will try to sell you the Xtra Ride extended warranty. I waited two years until the CR warranty was almost over and found an onlinewarranty dealer that sold me a 5 year Xtra Ride (five years from 8/2011, not from 8/2009) for a much better price than RVW.

I would avoid Terrytown. We purchased from them because they had the lowest price. I wish we had stayed with a local dealer and just paid the extra bucks. Everything was fine until we had a small problem with the camper. Now they don't return phone calls or when you do reach the Service manager, he gives us the runaround with a promise to call the manufacturer and call us back but he never does.

Any Crossroads dealer can do warranty work no matter where you bought it.

I purchased my CF30QB from RV Wholesalers. Do not count on them for anything after the sale. Salesperson will tell you anything you want to hear. Look over the trailer well before accepting it. The driver will have little to no knowledge of how anything works. If you are handy and resourceful, then buy it at the right price. Give the local dealer the final shot and consider paying a little extra for the local relationship. I have had good luck with my Cruiser in spite of RV Wholesalers because of factory support from Crossroads. I have only had minimal issues with the unit. I would do it again, since I saved $3500.<div id="myWatcherDiv" style="display:n&#111;ne;">

When we purchased our Cruiser two years ago a local dealer had just the trailer we wanted in stock. I sent the build sheet to RVWholesalers and got their best price. After factoring in shipping etc I added $1000 to the RVW price and made that offer to my local dealer. The local dealer let me have it for that price. I felt being able to kick the tires and deal local was worth the $1000. I am in Idaho so would have had a long wait for my trailer from RVW. I had an axle problem on the road which was repaired by Lippert with Crossroads making the arrangements. Very satisfied with the effort Crossroads goes to on warranty items.

So, it seems RVW doesn't have CrossRoads listed on their website anymore. Is this a permanent change? Or will RVW list them again at some point in the future?

We considered RVW as a point of purchase...but you are probably best to go thru a more local dealer. We could have driven down to pick up in Ohio...but we hadn't decided what to do and purchased at Cleveland RV Show. I do not regret going thru local dealer.

Mark,

Could you be talking about the CW in St Augustine? Didnt think there was one in Jax yet. Understand CWbought Suncoast RV and is converting their Jax store but think that is still a work in progress.

I got my 2011 in St Augustine last year and gotit for a very good price.

Im in Jax and went to CW but they didnt have the Cruiser I was looking for. Found one at Southern RV up by Atlanta hoping to look at it. Did either one of you try them and if so were they fair with their price

We bought our Paradise Pointe from Southern RV and they will be better on price than CW will. CW seems to be very proud of their inventory.

We bought our Seville at CW St Augustine after I shopped at Southern RV. I even gave Southern RV the oppoortunity to beat CW and they (Owners daugher/salesperson) could not/would notbeat them. I guess it just depends......

Now that is really food for thought, I would think CW would have a lot more overhead, course maybe they also are able to move more units and reduce the price.

I will say that I was impressed with everyone I met at SouthernRV.... just couldnt get right on the price. Also, their selection was not as big as CW.

I will add that Southern RV had the best price on what we were looking for but their service after the sale was lacking.

It is a bit surprising that RVW no longer carries Cruisers. Perhaps CR decided to get away from Internet dealers? RVW sold Cruisers under the "Durnell RV" dealership name. Actually, "Durnell RV dba RV Wholesalers" is on much of our paperwork.
