When we went to look at Sunset Trailmodels the other day, I noticed that the floor of the slide has a little higher step up than on the Zinger. The salesman stated that it was because of a new designto prevent the slides from sagging. Is thissomething we should be concerned about? We want to buy it rightwith our firstpurchase in hopes that it lasts
I would not think sag would have anything to do with it. I would have to thing to house the mechanics for the slide would be more likely

New units have the Swintek slide out mechanism which moves the bottom and top of the slide at the same rate. Older units have the drive mechanism under the floor and the slide tilts some as it moves, but this is not a 'sagging floor'. The salesperson is not well informed.

You say it's a higher step, just how much higher is it? Outs is pretty much flat with the floor after extending. Certainly not more then an in. or 2 at the very most.
The Zinger seemed to have a 1 1/2-2" rise where the Sunset Trail was more like 3-4. We are really happy with the construction so just wanted to make sure it was top notch all the way around ~ Thanks
Like that answer, feeling much better about taking the plunge We will be checking out our 3 other favorite floor plans in the next couple weeks then it will be flip a coin time ~ Thanks
