Hi everyone,

We're seriously looking at purchasing a Slingshot after seeing it at 2 shows recently. 27ft for under 4,000 lbs? cool. Construction seems reasonable - composite materials and welded alumninum, 16"stud. Decor is very modern.

Has anyone purchased one yet? We would be very appreciative of any feedback, suggestions, warnings, etc.

The Crossroads company has impressed us so far. We talked with the president, Mark, at the Providence rv show about what went into designing the Slingshot. More importantly, we like the overall feeling of quality we've been getting from reading all the postings here (thank you - very helpful to a newbie to CR!!). Any feedback is very welcome! Gail

ohhhh...that's both exciting and nerve-wracking!

We're expecting to go see the dealer very soon, so I'll report back when I have news (it will be a factory order, not off the lot).

My dealer mentioned that he was going to start selling them very soon. He says that they are very well built and also very light. Perfect for someone pulling with a half ton.

Congratulations on you GT24RL. We took delivery of a GT26RKL in April. Been out 3 times so far learing the ropes on all the routines. No problems thus far. I've been following the Forum closely, but not many Slingshot's...so far.

Would like to hear about your experiences.

Just bought a 2011 GT24RL - took it out for the first time this past weekend. Towing with a Jeep Wrangler Unltd. We love it so far... No problems first time out, but still learning as it is our first TT. Best, L

Congratulations. We have the GT26RL. BTW, what is the weight of the TT? Should be a sticker in one of the cabinets reflectings certifited shipping weight. Also, the tow rating for the JW TV?

We can share experiences.

We purchased 32QB and love the construction and quaility so far.. We have yet to use it out in the field but are looking forward to it. The only issue I have as of now is the unit we purchased does not have any kitchen or bathroom drawers.

We ordered a 29BH on Friday. Can't wait to take it out for a scrape in 7 to 8 weeks. It is a bit odd not having drawers, but that way I don't have to worry if the glides are residential quality or not. I suspect it will be just fine for camping with only the cabinets.

We have a new Slingshot 29BHS. It is a 29' unit (with a slide) for only 4200 lbs! We have only taken it out on a one night shakedown cruise so far, but are taking it out for real this weekend.
