Should I pull Battery out of travel trailer and store in warm place for winter or leave in camper and leave plugged in ??

I just bought a 2016 sunset trail 250 RB, I am looking to buy some wheel chocks, I have the xchock from my last camper, but I don't know if they will open enough to fill the space between the 2 axles on my new one, anyone know how far apart the new axles are, we pick it up in a few days, thanks
