Holiday Road

This winter was especially cold and I believe it is the cause of a leak that developed on the roof of my 2012 zinger 5th wheel. The water has leaked into the front bedroom closet lifting the wall paper cover and damaging the wood walls. Also mild has started to develop. I took it to my insurance adjuster and to my surprise he suspects it will not be covered by my insurance. He claims that the old sealant has not been replaced. I told him I always inspect the sealant on the entire exterior of the camper including the roof and if I see and possibly of a leak occurring I redo the caulking. Has anyone ever experienced this comment of not being covered for a leak due to exterior infiltration of water?
