I agree. The manufacturer leaves holes three times the size of wires running through. Would be easy to fill holes at time of build.
I have spray foamed and steel wools every holes I can find and use...

I have mice running around in my ceiling and need to know how to gain access to place mouse traps. Unless someone has another option to try.
