OK I mispoke I should have said empty not off....

OK I mispoke I should have said empty not off. The black lever indicates what tank is in use. When the tank is empty the valve switches to the other tank but the indicator will show red for the lever...

I agree with Stan. You mention the indicator goes from"green to red" is that not what is supposed to happen with the tanks off
