The bypass valves should be on the inside of the trailer near the hot water tank. On my Zinger fifth wheel they are behind a panel that's held in place with 6 screws.

The hot water tank will remain full unless you have drained it. If it is empty it will fill up when you turn your water pump on (assuming the bypass valves are in the correct position).
