I went in to United RV today, I almost bought a new fridge...to me, its almost worth the 1200 bucks to get a Norcold and make some trim to fit the openings.

Well I have this part installed....does it work? Maybe just a hair better than the pot. Our fridges do work when the ambient temp is below 90 degrees...the "snip the temp" works great in this range....

I have that installed it helps when the temps are below 90 outside. Above 90, these fridges don't work, the only way around it is unplug the thermistor.

I am still thinking of swapping out to a NorCold.

Hey folks, quick update. Went for the long weekend. Temps were crazy high again, 100 each day, I unpluged the thermistor and the middle of the fridge got to 39 but would bounce back up to around 43...

I just plugged in the Thermistor on the back of the board. Repositioned the therminstor inside to where "Dometic" says it...

well here is something...a small front blew...

Cliff, do disconnect your thermister from the board. 2 wires on a little connector, under the larger plug... also labled P2 Sensor on the board.

Pull it off and put the board cover back...
